From the Head of School, Dr. Beth J. Ricks:
It is my pleasure to welcome you to the Grace Episcopal School website. I love Grace—the students, the faculty, and the community—and I am privileged to serve as Head of School. Here you will find information about our curriculum, athletic and enrichment programs, and the many people who make up our superbly qualified faculty, staff, and administration.
Over 60% of our faculty members have advanced degrees, and we believe that real world experiences, when coupled with rich classroom environments, foster a respect and thirst for life-long learning. Our teachers inspire our students, instill a love of learning and celebrate each student’s exceptional talents and uniqueness.
Founded in 1954 as an outreach of Grace Episcopal Church, Grace Episcopal School is a warm and friendly environment where a core commitment to academic excellence blends gracefully with equally strong traditions of pursuing excellence in the development of social and emotional health, spiritual well-being, and rigorous participation in physical activity. Grace students are well-rounded young people who thrive on challenges and opportunities in all areas of life.
For Grace, the standard for achievement is personal and collective excellence within a school community that balances nurture and rigor of the whole child—spirit, mind, and body. With the dedication of faculty and community members, our students are equipped to discover and maximize their talents, embracing their full potential. Our faculty—our extended family—makes Grace an exceptional place to be.
Please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions you may have about any aspect of what Grace has to offer, and welcome to our special community.
