Christian Education

Lower School Religion Courses

Students in Lower School religion courses are instructed in age appropriate activities. Students in Pre-Kindergarten through Grade 1 learn the basic tenets of the Christian faith, and they follow the liturgical calendar and have presentations appropriate to the season.  Students in Grades 2-5 learn about the geography of the Land of Israel, read and study parables, and are introduced to terms that they see and experience in Chapel services such as the vestments that Priests wear in a particular season and the colors of each season.  They also study the life of Christ and his teachings.
