Episcopal Identity

Grace Episcopal School is a parochial school and was founded as an outreach of Grace Episcopal Church. The church and school, therefore, are intentionally linked. New families arrive knowing our mission and are aware that our students attend Chapel and take religion courses. Our very mission speaks to the importance of learning in a Christian environment. Grace clergy have a prominent role on campus. Because our school is literally attached to the church, our Clergy are a constant presence not only in morning Chapel and religion classes, but they also minister to staff and students in need.

We hold functions throughout the year that help serve as a reminder to our uniquely Episcopal qualities. On St. Francis Day, we hold our very popular and longstanding outdoor service for Blessing of the Animals, and we participate in an outdoor national day of prayer (Rally around the Flag Pole). In short, we have a very active Christian environment in which our Episcopal qualities are reinforced through a clergy presence, class instruction, morning Chapel and other planned religious events.
